2000$ for SAMS (Société Artistique en Milieu de Santé) wine conferences
On Tuesday April the 18th, a philantropic auction + concert was held in Montreal for the SAMS (Société Artistique en Milieu de Santé). International Montreal Butler Academy (IMBA) contributed two lots comprising of 2 wine tasting conferences (Friuli &Bordeaux ). Each fetched a price of CDN$ 1000.
SAMS netted two thousand dollars from them.
This is excellent news, since SAMS is a noble initiative organising in Long Term Care Centers (where a lot of old people get abandonned…) first class concerts (650 concerts per year!) to lift the spirits of older and suffering seniors. When my mother was ill at the end of her life, I saw how lonely and bleak the day to day routine can be there. SAMS is worthy of all our support.
The happy buyers got: 1-a conference + tasting of Friuli-Venezia Giulia wines 2-a conference + tasting of Bordeaux wines.
